Scarlet nexus yuito9/26/2023 ![]() Tbh its not handled the best and its certainly not explored enough to be justified but while I do not care for Karen much I certainly respect the guy at least and I do not think its such a weird route to take after the story explored the other avenues. ![]() Matter of fact is that Alice was actually Fubuki's fiance, Fubuki is his best friend, that is why he never made a move on her and was planning to bring her back most likely for Fubuki, given the fact he was willing to sacrifice himself after learning he simply cant do it all by himself, which is what ultimately allowed him to succeed. They monitor and feed some of them, use them as safeguards even, its neccessary to have long time experiments on the same subjects to see a change and at least one application would be to turn back people who became Others, so again this makes sense to me.Īnd saying it all devolved to justs im a simg and muh gf is very harsh and needless imo, its actually much more convoluted than that, with the time travel and the rebellion against the New Himuka goverment, saving Alice was actually Karen's or one of Karen's goals from the begining, thats why he supported Suoh's research and only traveled in time after Alice Other was killed.Īgain, its not as tho the things are not connected or just dropped for sake of the gf plot.Īnd even that is more convoluted than you give it credit for, as simple as the concept might be, it is certainly possible and especially in a world where there is so much evil ♥♥♥♥ going down, someone like Karen could easily fixate on a specific person. Seiran worked with the serum they got from the brains and likely learned how to make because of Others, same with Suoh which experimented on people to have them develop stronger powers and control their mind, both are intrinsicly bound to and likely possible because of their observations of the others. Both countries conducted their own experiments on them, and on people. We actually do know why they kept some of the Others alive and why they fed them and such.

4 wheeling lifted el camino9/26/2023 ![]() It starts easily and has good low-end torque to really get this rig up and running. A Corvette cam gives it a strong mid-range pull and there's a new Edelbrock 650 CFM carburetor up top. The engine is a stout 350 cubic inch V8 that's making about 275 horsepower. New seat belts are fitted and they, too, are bright blue to give it a correct OEM look. There's an AM/FM/CD stereo in the dash with speakers cleverly hidden throughout the passenger compartment, including big JVC speakers in custom enclosures behind the seats. The steering wheel isn't quite correct, but in this car, are we really keeping track of such things? This car came with factory A/C and you probably didn't even notice the lever on the transmission tunnel for the 2-speed transfer case, simply because it looks so OEM. Factory instruments are augmented by a pair of auxiliary gauges down low under the dash, but that seems to be the only deviation from stock specs on the inside. A wide bench seat provides seating for three, and correct carpets control noise and heat while looking stylish. The all-new bright blue interior is from Year One, and once you climb up there you're sure to be impressed by the quality. And obviously, as a truck, it's got a Class III trailer hitch, so it really is ready, willing, and able to move the big stuff. Details like the woodgrained tailgate are new, the blue paint has an impressive shine, and the bumpers and grille are brand new. ![]() Finish quality is very, very good, putting this one on par with many of the show-quality Elkys we've featured, standing head and shoulders above all those home-built trucks you've seen on the internet. Surprisingly, the body is pretty stock, without so much as a cowl induction hood or a set of stripes, and I don't know that I'd call this truck subtle, but it certainly isn't over-the-top. The 1971 models got a revised front end that many enthusiasts, myself included, think is the best looking of the bunch. Once you get past the shock of seeing something this big, you realize that there's a really nice El Camino up there on those giant tires. And obviously, as a truck, it's got a Class III trailer hitch, so it really is ready, willing, and. ![]() It certainly makes sense, especially since 4x4 pickups have been around since the early days of motoring, but you probably haven't seen one done quite this well. We sell so many El Caminos that you might think we're a specialty shop, but even we haven't seen anything as wild as this 1971 Chevrolet El Camino with 4-wheel-drive. AMAZINGLY RARE ELKY, FULL 4X4 CONVERSION FROM JEEP WAGONEER, A/C, CD, CLASS III

Cheats codes pokemon puzzle league n649/26/2023 ![]() This version of the game introduces a new game mechanic where if you fill up a gauge upon clearing panels, you will get the ability to use a special technique. The DS iteration, Planet Puzzle League, maintained the name while adopting a futuristic theme, though still with no characters.Īn Animal Crossing-themed variant called Animal Crossing Puzzle League was released as a Game Within a Game for New Leaf after an update. Mario) simply entitled it "Puzzle League," which had no theme whatsoever. ![]() The name "Puzzle League" stuck in western releases: a Game Boy Advance compilation release (along with Dr. It had "battles" between Pokémon played out in puzzle matches, and some adventuring on the side. It later saw two Pokémon-themed reskinnings: Pokémon Puzzle Challenge for Game Boy Color, which was almost a proto- Puzzle Quest, and Pokémon Puzzle League for Nintendo 64, directly based on the anime, which introduced a "3D" mode with a cylinder of blocks instead of a stack. note but since Yoshi had starred in previous falling blocks games like Yoshi and Yoshi's Cookie, the idea of using Yoshi's Island characters is not too far-fetched This version was simultaneously released for the Super NES and Game Boy, and was also brought back to Japan as Yoshi no Panepon. The US version was dolled up as Tetris Attack in 1996 with identical gameplay but with a very superficial Yoshi's Island theme note much of the original game remains intact visually, with only character art, the title screen, and a few musical pieces being changed, a few extra options and character profiles, and nothing to do with Tetris at all. Since it was believed that no self-respecting Western gamer would buy a game featuring 'girly girls' in those days, instead of roughing the marketing up, Nintendo decided to do the infamous palette and name swap, the same way they did to Super Mario Bros. It stars a flower fairy named Lip trying to rescue her fellow fairy friends from monsters, who are using evil magic to possess them and flood their homeland with an endless rainstorm. The original Panel de Pon came out for the Super Famicom in 1995. While a simple formula, it lends itself well to many variants: Play until you lose, score as many points as possible in a limited time, clear all the blocks on screen with limited moves, and face off against a CPU to see who loses first (with unclearable "garbage" to speed up the process). However, the stack of blocks is constantly growing, and if it reaches the top of the screen, you lose. Get more than 3 in a row, clear multiple sets of 3 at once, or create a chain - the blocks that fall in to replace the ones that you just cleared form more sets of 3 or more - and you get more points. Get three or more of the same block in a row, and they vanish. You can swap the blocks freely horizontally, but you cannot swap them vertically. You have a screen full of differently colored blocks and marked by different shapes. While not the Trope Maker for the Match-Three Game, it certainly helped popularize the genre. ![]() Panel de Pon note (or Tetris Attack, Puzzle League, Puzzle Challenge, or one of any innumerable names for the same series) is a Match-Three Game developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo.

Superpowered initiative influence9/26/2023 ![]() In Asia, the Chinese civil war was simultaneously roiling superpower relations. Early 1948 brought more trouble: a Moscow-backed coup in Czechoslovakia and the onset of then-Soviet leader Joseph Stalin’s blockade of West Berlin. The first half of 1947 saw one crisis precipitated by communist subversion and coercion against Greece and Turkey and another caused by the economic near-collapse of Western Europe. Diplomatic collisions and war scares occurred when the Soviet Union exerted pressure on Iran and Turkey in 1946. Indeed, crises are particularly common near the outset of great-power rivalries, when red lines are yet to be fully established, zones of influence remain fluid, and the key patterns of competition are still being set. The key to thriving in this era of great-power rivalry will be seizing the opportunities that crises present.Ĭrises are the norm in great-power rivalries: They occur as participants probe for weakness, gauge one another’s resolve, and measure their relative strengths. Yet the United States and its friends can use moments of high tension to address their military weaknesses, strengthen vital coalitions, and rally domestic support for sharper competitive measures. To be sure, no one should welcome the perils that are now coming into view. They were born of the urgency and creativity that flourish in a crisis. The great policies that positioned the United States for success in this twilight struggle-the Truman Doctrine, the Marshall Plan, the creation of NATO, and others-were not products of calm, deliberate planning. Yet Washington and the nascent Western world ultimately came through these crises with a mix of firmness and flexibility and used them as stimulus for many of the historic measures that ultimately won the Cold War. Fears of war were omnipresent amid repeated superpower disputes. The late 1940s saw near-incessant crises from Western Europe to East Asia. ![]() Crises are also opportunities for constructive action: They can catalyze initiatives and investments that will help the United States triumph in the protracted rivalries ahead.įor proof, look backward to the early Cold War. They vividly illustrate the stakes of geopolitical competition. Diplomatic or military confrontations illuminate the intentions of an adversary. So buckle up for a period when the world’s mightiest actors engage in high-stakes tests of strength.Ĭrises are terrifying, but they can also be clarifying. But showdowns with even the most roguish of rogue states aren’t as consequential as great-power military crises-incidents that have a meaningful prospect of war. These aren’t the only global flash points: Washington is currently laboring under the threat of renewed nuclear crises with Iran and North Korea. Indeed, given the way the two countries’ interests are now colliding in hot spots throughout the Western Pacific, the question is not whether they will find themselves in some sort of perilous showdown but when, where, and under what circumstances. ![]() ![]() House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s trip to Taiwan could touch off a serious crisis between the United States and China. In Europe, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has destabilized the continent’s eastern half, triggered a proxy war with NATO, and created an ever-present risk of escalation. Welcome to an era of grave and persistent tension, one in which great-power crises will be frequent and intense.

Aqua quip used spas9/26/2023 Turned out to be a good move, as these quickly became 25% of the company’s revenue. They soon identified BBQ’s and hearth products would be a good fit. ![]() Brian searched for other “like products” that home owners wanted. ![]() To reinvent themselves, it was important for Aqua Quip to look beyond their core business of spas and swimming pools. More importantly, he knew he had more work to do with the store’s culture. Brian went on to explain businesses like Aqua Quip normally generate single digit profit margins. When the employees were asked to separate the pennies, with one side being their costs and the other side the profits, he was alarmed to see that the workers were under the impression the company was running at a profit rate of 30% – 40%, a surprising rate of return for a retailer. In one case, he used 100 pennies to illustrate their cost of doing business and profitability. Other competitors didn’t adjust and suffered the consequences.īrian used this time as an opportunity to educate their employees. Brian realized they needed to reinvent themselves in order to survive. But then the recession of 2008 hit, dropping sales 15% that year, and an additional 10% the following year. At that time the spa business was growing up the coast, from California to Washington.Īqua Quip’s business was growing and doing well, expanding to 11 locations in the early 2000’s. In 1979, they bought a pool and spa business, taking the family in a new direction. He learned about hard work and how to run a business from watching his parents operate their lumber business for several years. ![]() More importantly….he’s a WSU Coug, which may help explain his success in life. Most of us think of this company as a source for hot tubs, but learned it’s so much more.īrian was comfortable joining us at Glendale CC since he grew up a few blocks away and attended Sammamish H.S. We were treated to an informative presentation by Brian Quint this morning, as he shared the birth and evolution of Aqua Quip.
